Shirley Hall

Today we mourn the passing of Ms. Shirley Jean Tidwell Hall. Ms. Hall was a loved teacher of the Blount County School System from which she retired in 2004. She was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her father, James Tidwell; her mother, Lougene Muse Tidwell; and her sister, Jada Tidwell. She is survived by her daughter, Monica Carter-Pickle (Man Pickle); granddaughters, Micaela Carter, Baylee Pickle, and Annabeth Pickle. Shirley loved spending time with her family on vacations and traveling with cousins to different places. A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 5, from 1-2pm, with a service following in the Chapel at Jefferson Memorial at 2pm.
