Shirley was an extremely independent women who lived during a time that dealt out a hard life for most. She had a fight in her that lasted right up to the time that she went to meet Jesus. She was "born again" in 1983. Shirley served the Lord faithfully throughout her life and became a conduit that many friends and family members would come to find Jesus through.

Shirley is survived by her sons, Brian (Robbie) McGinnis, David (Cindy) McGinnis, Wayne (Deborah) McGinnis; Grandchildren, Rachael Smith, Brittany McGinnis, Chrystal McGinnis, Joshua McGinnis, Kim McGinnis, Chase McGinnis, Katie McGinnis, and Brandon McGinnis; Brother, Ronald Holloway; Sister, Cali Mae Goolsby; and 15 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 7th, 2026 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens at 10 o'clock and will be officiated by Pastor Scottie Smith.
