Shelia Gamble

Shelia Jackson Gamble, age 73, passed away on June 4, 2025. She was a faithful Christian member of Bridgepoint Church formerly Bethel Church of God. She was a faithful member and faithful servant for 54 years. Shelia was the secretary at the church for the pastor and for the school. Mrs. Gamble loved sewing and made many pieces of clothes for family members including wedding dresses. She was preceded in death by her husband James Larry Gamble; father, Carl Jackson, Sr.

Shelia is survived by her two sons Jason (Michele) Gamble, Allan (Jill) Gamble; granddaughter, Hannah Gamble; mother, Veneta Jackson; brother, Carl Jackson, Jr.; sister, Sharon Sides.

The family would like to especially thank Jamie with Aveanna Hospice for her help and care of Shelia.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 9, 2025, from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. There will be a chapel service following the visitation at the funeral home with burial at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
