Sheila Dean (Goggins) Ingram

Sheila Dean (Goggins) Ingram, 84, dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and sister passed away Wednesday, November 12th, 2025. She was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and we know she is with her Savior and has heard “Well done My good and faithful servant!”

Daughter of Geraldine Blackerby Goggins and Robert Carter Goggins, Sr., she was born March 2, 1941 in Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated from Hueytown High School in 1959. Sheila married Lloyd Ingram on March 17th, 1961 and they lived most of their life together in Center Point, Alabama. Sheila loved the mountains and the beach and enjoyed traveling there with family. Sheila was a dedicated prayer warrior. Many can testify of her prayerful spirit and love for the Lord and she spent many hours praying for her family and church family. She led both of her children and grandchildren to a saving faith in Jesus at a very early age. “Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her” (Prov. 31:28).

She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd and her mother and father. She is survived by their children Lloyd Dale Ingram and Darrell Ray Ingram (Jo Ellen); two grandchildren: Jessica Nicole Ingram and Jacob Robert Ingram (Madeline); brothers, Robert Carter Goggins, Jr. (Margaret), and Elton Keith Goggins (Patricia)
