Sharon George

Sharon Maddox George, born September 21, 1947 Birmingham, passed away September 16 while living in Birmingham. She was a graduate of Woodlawn High School and member of Juniorette's sorority. She was married to JB George for 54 years. She is survived by her son (Stephen) and daughter (Gina), four grand-children, her sister (Pam) and brother (Terry). Sherry, was deeply committed to her family and her Christian faith. She would always provide her profound opinion or guidance as she would say to those she loved. She retired from Samford University where she enjoyed joking with her colleagues and the faculty. She loved spending time at the beach, visiting over a meal, and playing dominoes.
