Sarah Sciara Hughes, age 100, of Foley, passed away February 21, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband's Anthony Sciara and Woodrow Hughes, parents Rev. John and Lula Carwile, brother Robert Carwile, sisters Beatrice Waide and Louise Grogan. Chapel services will be held on Saturday, Feb 25, at 2:30pm with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 1:30pm until 2:30pm Saturday. She is survived by her daughter Nina McDonald (Julian), grandchildren Tracie McDonald, Michael McDonald, great grandchildren Amanda Houston, Ezra McDonald, great great granddaughter Kay Leigh Miller, stepdaughter Carol Colburn (Bill), stepson Woodrow Hughes (Gloria),numerous nieces, and nephews. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
