Sarah Burns

Sarah Young Burns, 89 of Birmingham passed away on May 5, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Burns. Survivors include her four children, Janice Sanders (Gerald), Peggy Lay (Rayford), Patricia Burns (Ralph Lindstrom) and Robert F. Burns; two sisters, Lucille Blankenship and Kathleen Browning; four grandchildren, Chad Sanders (Tammy), Cara Carrewyn (David), Ryan Sanders and Sean Lay; 5 great grandchildren, Peyton, Amelia, Emma and Chloe Sanders and Zoe Carrewyn. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 7 beginning at 12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with Graveside services at 1:00 PM in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East with Lynn Dimon officiating.
