Sara Murphy

Sara McKelvy Murphy passed away peacefully March 18th at St Martins in the Pines. Born January 1, 1926, she was preceded in death by husbands Arthur M Bishop and James A Murphy Jr., her parents Dwight & Annie Mae McKelvy, brother Jack, sisters Sue Bill, Dorothy Slaten, and Frances Folse. She is survived by two sisters Evelyn Owen & Wanda Thompson. Leaving behind the center of her life is her family, son Tommy Bishop(Kelli), daughters Joy Payne(Larry) and Susan Ainsworth(Robby), 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Arrangements are Friday March 21, with 1pm visitation with funeral service at 2pm Jefferson Memorial Trussville.
