Sara Kane

Sara Messer Kane, age 75 of Birmingham, AL passed away on April 18, 2012. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and also Jefferson State Senior Club. She retired from Bell-South in 1992. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas B. Kane. She is survived by her daughters, Ann Kirkwood (Jimmy), Kathy Smith (Karl), and Linda Stephen (Billy); grandchildren, Barry Lane (Sarah), Amanda Wright, Brandon Kane (Lili), and Billy Stephen; 8 great grandchildren; beloved niece, Sarah Armstrong and other numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Friday, April 20, 2012 from 5 to 7PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be on Saturday at 10:00 AM at Jefferson Memorial with burial to follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
