Sara Burks

Sara Walker Burks, age 67, of Birmingham, passed away August 13, 2017. She was a guiding light of Birmingham area teens and was exceedingly philanthropic. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister. Chapel services will be held on Thursday, Aug 17, at 2pm with visitation from 1pm until 2pm Thursday. She is survived by her husband Jeff Burks, children Rachel Fuchs, Thomas J. Burks, grandchildren Wolfgang Alexander Fuchs, Sara Anja-Marie Fuchs, sister Dawn Palmer, brothers Dan Walker, Larry Walker, and a host of nieces and nephews. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
