Ruth Taylor of Hueytown passed away on July 15, 2026 at the age of 91. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marlin Taylor. She is survived by one daughter, Renee (Jeff) Morrison; one brother, Eddie Smith; three grandchildren, Tiffany Morrison (Shannon), Haley Morrison (Matt) and Jeremy Bearden (Sharon); great grandchildren, Taylor and Skyland Bearden and a host of neices and nephews and many loving friends. She was a faithful member of Chalkville Baptist Church for over 40 years before moving to Hueytown, where she attended Valley Creek Baptist Church. Services will be on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Burial will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
