Ruben Roebuck

R.J. "Buddy" Roebuck, age 81, currently of Bessemer, AL Buddy was a long time former resident of Roebuck, AL. He retired from Jefferson County after many years of service as a Tax Assessor. Buddy was an avid golfer and bowler. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 40 years, Julia Roebuck. He is survived by his sons, Timothy Roebuck (Evelyn), David Roberson (Lois), and Steve Roberson(Pat); grandchildren, Geoffery, Jackie, Robby, John, Ana, Stacey and Erin; 8 great grandchildren; and a host of friends and family. Services will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 2:00pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in the Chapel, with visitation one hour prior to service time.
