Roy Rogers

Roy M. Rogers, age 80 of Moody, AL passed away on January 15, 2017. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the Teamsters Local Union #921. He was a truck driver for most of his life. He is preceded in death by his wife. Shirley Rogers and his son, James Rogers. He is survived by his wife, Louise Rogers; daughters, Debra Moore, Pat Thienpont (Doug), Bethany Bradford (Jerry), Dawn Rogers (Mike Searcy) and April Smith (Dirk Robinson); grandchildren, Jason, Jeremiah, Angela, Todd, Leyla, Kris, Chip and Tyler; 13 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 5 to 7 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be on Thursday at 12 PM at Jefferson Memorial. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Brother Brad Moseley will be officiating over the services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
