Roy Chandler, Jr.

Roy Chandler, Jr., age 70, of Moody passed away on January 12, 2022. He was a computer analyst with EBSCO and a member of Leeds First Baptist Church. He loved Jesus and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed fishing, Alabama Football and Softball, Andy Griffith and Gunsmoke. He is survived by his wife, Mary “Christie” Chandler; his children, Kay Gulledge (Cary) and Roy “Trey” Chandler III (Andrea); his grandchildren, Hunter Gulledge and Jacob Gulledge, and Roy “Ty” Chandler IV, Pollyanna Grace Chandler, and Haley Sue Chandler; and his sister, Suzanne Frederick. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 17 at 2PM in the Chapel at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. A visitation will begin at 12PM.
