Rose Parker

Rose T. Parker, age 73 of Hueytown, AL went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 28, 2021. She was a member of Jefferson Park Independent Pentecostal Holiness Church of Irondale, AL.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Dean Tapley and Niecy Tapley.

She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Billy G. Parker; her children, Jeffery Daniel Parker, Patty Smith (Larry), Pamela "Pam" Smitherman (Brian), and Phillip Parker (Lolita); her six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; her sister, Joyce Poe (Eugene) and nephew, Michael Poe (Karen).

A funeral for Rose will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, January 3rd at 10:00 a.m. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial's adjoining gardens in Trussville. Brother Dewey Wilhite will preside over the service.
