Rose Owings Hamilton, 85 of Pell City passed away on October 7, 2011. Rose was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lecil Hamilton, a brother, T.L. Owings and a grandson, Mark. She is survived by her daughter, Marcia Sovereign (Gary); two sisters, Margaret Boucher (Chuck) and Patricia Hughes (Toby); grandchildren, Michael Sovereign (Lisa), Kim Samar (Paul) and Tia Tomkins (Lee); great grandchildren, Cassie, Stephanie, Shawn, Brennan and Emerson. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 12 beginning at 12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with Chapel services at 2:00 PM and burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
