Robin Edwards

Robin N Edwards, Jr. passed from this world on to the next, July 8th, 2016. He was loved and revered as father, Paw-Paw, brother, uncle, Superman, and friend. He was born in Tampa, FL and was a long time resident of Birmingham. During World War II, Robin served in the South Pacific as a Navy Seabee. He was preceded in death by his cherished wife of 57 years, Doris Hall Edwards. He is survived by four children: Connie Edwards Creighton (Vance), Victor Edwards (Kathy), Anita Edwards, Donna Edwards Thackerson (Scott), seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, brother Charles M Edwards (Orvetta) and sister Jo Ellen LaCasse. He was a supportive, loyal, patient, hard-working servant-leader who generously cared for widows and orphans. Memorial services will be held at Jefferson Memorial, Trussville, AL, Monday, July 11th.
