In Loving Memory of Robert L. Posey

Robert L. Posey, a beloved son, brother, friend, and cherished member of his family, was born on March 10, 1957, in Gadsden, Alabama. He peacefully departed this life on August 13, 2026.

Robert was a man whose presence brought joy wherever he went. He had a remarkable gift for making light of any situation, bringing laughter to those around him, and making life more exciting with his quick wit and warm spirit. Thoughtful, kind, and compassionate, Robert possessed a natural ability to make people feel welcome and valued. To know him was truly to love him.

A proud graduate of Emma Sansom High School, Class of 1975, Robert continued his education at Gadsden State Community College, where he earned an Associate of Science degree. Committed to lifelong learning and personal growth, he later earned a Bachelor of Business degree from American InterContinental University.

Robert built a successful professional career and served as Executive Vice President at TriMed Billing Solutions, LLC in Hoover, Alabama, a position he held with dedication and distinction until his passing. His leadership, professionalism, and commitment to excellence earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and peers alike.

Born and raised in Gadsden, Alabama, Robert spent his early years surrounded by family, friends, and cherished memories. In 1989, he relocated to Birmingham, Alabama, where he established his home and continued to build a life filled with meaningful relationships and accomplishments.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Adam D. Posey and Susie Miree Posey; his sister, Leontine Jemison; and his brothers, Eddie D. Posey, Eugene P. Posey, Michael Todd Posey, and Charles Daniel Posey.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving brother, Broderic R. Lewis, affectionately known as “Lenny or Rusty”, along with a host of extended family members, dear friends, and all whose lives were touched by his kindness, humor, and generosity.

Robert will be remembered for the life he lived, the memories he created, and the love he shared so freely with others. His laughter, wisdom, and caring spirit will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Though he is no longer with us in physical form, his legacy of love and friendship will continue to live on through the countless lives he impacted.

May Robert rest peacefully, knowing that he was deeply loved, fondly remembered, and will never be forgotten.
