Robert Moore

Bob passed at the age of 79. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 20, at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville, Alabama. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am followed by a service at 2:00 pm. Bob is survived by his wife of 50 years, Faye Moore; son, Wayne (Briana); daughters, Sandy Moore & Deetria Holt (Noel); sister, Jo Cook; five grandchildren & two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews; & many cherished friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Roy, Sr. & Ora Dee Booker Moore; siblings J.R., Louise, Catherine, Dorothy, & Hazel. He retired in 1999 from CSX (L&N) Railroad after 35 years of service. He was a member of Palmerdale Cross Baptist Church; Glencoe Masonic Lodge No. 846; Board of Directors at PHCC. Bob was devoted to his family & community, always the life of the party, & passionate about his gardening. Special thanks to Home Healthcare, Aspire Health, & Gentiva Hospice.
