Robert S. Martin, passed away May 8 in Destin, FL at the age of 89. Born in Brooksville AL on October 30, 1921 to Robert S. Martin Sr., and Winnifred Wallace Martin. He served in the Army during WWII attaining the rank of Sgt. Survivors are his beloved wife Daphine; daughters, Karen Hickenbotham and Diane Turner; sons, David (Jeanette) and Michael (Eloise) Martin; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Chapel services will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Thursday, May 12 at 12:00 PM with burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
