Robert Kay

Robert “Robbie” Kay, age 60, of Odenville, AL passed away on October 30, 2021, at his home after a long battle with his health.

Robbie attended Leeds High School. He was a hard worker who had various careers. He enjoyed playing guitar with his friends. He loved animals and nature.

Robbie is preceded in death by his wife, Laura Kay; his parents, Roy and Caldonia Kay; his brothers, Buddy Kay, Arnold Kay, Wayne Kay, Bill Kay and Johnny Falkner.

He is survived by his son, Nick Reed; his brother, Alvin Kay (Betty); his sisters, Dolly Weems and Betty Skelton and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral for Robbie will take place at Jefferson Memorial Chapel in Trussville on November 3rd at 2:00 p.m. with visitation for family and friends held one hour prior. Burial will immediately follow the chapel service at Jefferson Memorial’s adjoining cemetery.
