Robert Howard Bonner

Robert Howard Bonner, known to most as Bobby, passed away December 27, 2024 at the age of 79. Bobby was born July 30, 1945 in Los Angeles, CA to the late Minus Howard Bonner and Mary Josephine Bonner – better known as Short and Jo. Bobby and his parents moved to Alabama early in his childhood returning to his Dad’s homeplace.

Bobby loved life. He spent a lot of time listening to music of many genres. One of Bobby’s favorite hobbies was going fishing. He was an avid sports fan, especially Alabama sports. He loved classic cars and owned several through the years. He enjoyed time spent with family and friends. He had several lifelong friends that he still met often for lunch and get togethers. He loved to go shopping and be around others. He rarely met a stranger. He could always tell you the best restaurants around town.

Bobby held many titles through his lifetime, but his two favorite titles were Daddy and Grandbob. He leaves behind his daughter Joy (her husband Boogie), grandchildren Mary (her husband Avery), and Lawson, and great-grandchildren Lyla and Baylor.
