Richard Mewborn

Richard “Dick” Mewborn, age 88, of Hayden, passed away on November 26, 2019. He worked in the trucking industry for 40 years and was an Army veteran during the Korean War. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Martha Mewborn; 4 siblings; and a grandchild, William Bradley Daniel. He is survived by his daughters, Rhonda Knight, Vicki Howell (Allen), and Dana Daniel (Bill); his grandchildren, Richard “Richie” Howell (Andria), Monica Bramlett (David), John Timothy Howell, Blake Denson Daniel (Kelly), Haley Elizabeth Fulmer (Zach), and Joseph Wesley Daniel; his great-grandchildren, Brody Howell, Ashlynn Howell, Tyler David Bramlett, Alice Claire Daniel, and Jackson Daniel Fulmer; and his sister, Arline Baysden. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 30, at 12pm in the Chapel at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
