Richard Lantz

Richard W. Lantz, 77 of Birmingham passed away on February 14, 2009. Richard was a veteran of the US Air Force, a flight instructor, and a retired commercial pilot for Southern Natural Gas with 25 years of service. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 17 from 12:00 i�½" 1:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with services being held at 1PM in the Abbey Mausoleum in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Margaret H. Lantz; their daughters, Rhonda Kontzen (Mark) of Pinson and Elizabeth Empson (Daniel) of Destin, FL; four grandchildren, Richard Kontzen and Rachel Kontzen of Pinson and Nicholas Empson and Kyle Empson of Destin FL; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
