Peggy Edward Hinote, 94, Passed away April 17, 2026. Peggy was born on September 3, 1941 in Birmingham, AL.

Peggy grew up in Birmingham. She attended Woodlawn High School. After retiring from ATT she and her husband Philip moved to Panama City Beach where she lived until recently moving to Gadsden to be near family. She was a faithful member of Woodlawn Methodist Church where she was quick to serve others. She loved her family and insured that every member was cared for. She will be forever loved and missed.

She is survived by her children, Eddie Hinote (Mary), Cheryl Hinote Capouya (Neilsen), Lisa Hinote Tyler; grandchildren, Brian Hinote (Tyne), Kevin Hinote, Katie Tyler, Nathan Tyler, Matthew Angwin, Kelsey Angwin; great grandchildren, Ethan Hinote, Eliot Hinote, Gabriel Tyler, Aleah Tyler.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Philip Hinote; son-in-law, Donald Tyler; Grandson, Lucas Tyler; parents, Stanley and Katie Edwards.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Gentiva Hospice of Rainbow City, AL.
