Pauline "Polly, Betty" Ratliff at the age of 99 passed away on July 2, 2026. Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Robert M "Bob" Ratliff, parents Mary Silver Hammon and John Palokonis, 6(six) siblings Bobby Palokonis, Nicky Palokonis, Tommy Palokonis, Dorothy Chasco, Jackie Palokonis, Dorothy Chasco, Mary Jane Flower and 2(two) daughters Sherry Ann Hughes and Margeret Dian Barker.

She is survived by her sons Robert "Bob" Ratliff (Mary) and Scott Ratliff (Dottie) along with grandchildren Robbie Martin, Stephanie Hughes, Steven Hughes, Rachel Ratliff and Sarah Ratliff.

Pauline left her home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to join the Army during WWII serving state side as an assistant to a Colonel, something she seemed to have fully enjoyed and was very proud of. It was there that she meet her husband Robert "Bob" and were married only 2(two) weeks later. Her love of sewing allowed her to do many things for many people. One of which provided her with a blessing as well as those that she made them for was making burial gowns for infants. It was a tough thing to do knowing the reason it was being done but gave her a purpose and blessing to those that received them.
