Paula Jean Farris

Paula Jean Farris, age 78 of Trussville, went to her eternal home in Christ on Friday, October 20, 2023.  Mrs. Farris was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Imogene Simpson and her loving husband Coach Larry Farris. She was a graduate of Woodlawn High School where she was elected homecoming queen, a member of First Baptist Church of Trussville, and a retired United States Postal Service carrier.

She was a devoted and loving daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.  Survivors include her sons Jason Paul Farris and John David Farris (Jennifer); grandchildren Julia Ireland Farris and John Connor Farris. 

Services will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens on Wednesday, October 25 at 10:00 am.  Family will accept guests prior to the service beginning at 9:00am.  A burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
