Patricia Maxey

Maxey, Patricia Layton "Pat" died on October 7th after a brief illness. She was born in Birmingham on April 18, 1945 to and is pre-deceased by her parents Mary Louise Abel and John Mack Layton, Sr. She is survived by her daughters, Ginger Maxey Walker (Steven) of Madison and Sherilyn Maxey Brock of Warrior; granddaughter, Marissa Walker of Madison; two grandsons, Dustin Leipert of Madison and Levi Brock of Warrior; her sister, Lynda Wheat (Jim) of Alabaster; half-sister, Barbara L. Brauss of Ft. Worth, TX; and two half-brothers, Richard C. Abel of Hoover and John Mack Layton of Dallas, TX. Pat is also survived by 2 aunts, a niece, and several nephews. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
