Patricia Hawkins

Patricia “Dot” Hawkins, age 83, of Center Point, AL passed away on June 24, 2025. She lived in Center Point for over 50 years. She worked in retail and management over 20 years at multiple Shop-A-Snack locations and later spent 17 years in retail at Sam’s Club in Trussville. She attended Palmerdale Cross First Baptist Church and was a member the Red Hat Society. She loved spending time with her cats Harley and Willow. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Ollie Jenkins, her husband James V. Hawkins and her grandson Brandon Shane Hawkins.

She is survived by her sister Pauline Hollis; daughter, Sheila A. Tidwell and son James W. Hawkins (Linda); grandchildren Christopher Hawkins (Amanda), Amanda Duncan, Tabitha Fong (Azuk), Rebeka Reach (Brett), Christina Harlow (Nathan) and Timothy Holder; 13 great grandchildren. She was loved by all and will be dearly missed.

Services will be held at Jefferson Memorial Chapel in Trussville, AL on July 2, 2025. Visitation for friends and family will be held from 1-2:00pm and Chapel service will follow.
