Patricia Ann Abercrombie Baird

Patricia, age 82 years and 6 months. She was preceded in death by her two sons Robert Randal and Christopher Scot Roman, her parents Cecil Edward Abercrombie, Sr, and Dorothy Clarice Dodson Abercrombie, and brother David Keith Abercrombie. Patricia is survived by her beloved husband Johnny Randall Baird with whom she was married for 33 years. She is also survived by 3 brothers, Philip Norman Abercrombie (Charlotte), Cecil Edward Abercrombie, Jr (Betty deceased), Ronald Dale Abercrombie (Connie), She was also blessed with a granddaughter Chelsie Montana Roman Gamble, (John) and two Great grand daughters Lilly Marie and Corina Madison Gamble... 4 nephews, 1 great nephew and 3 Great niece.

Patricia grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and Graduated from Banks High School. She had a beautiful voice and sang in the High School Choir. She Graduated from Alverson--Draughon Business College. Patricia was a member of the East Lake Church of Christ that was established Cecil Edward Abercrombie, Sr from 1941 to 1976.

Patricia retired from (Southtrust Bank) Wells Fargo working in the Asset recovery department .

Patricia loved working in her flower gardens with her husband Johnny. She was a great seamstress, quilting and handcraft,. She also enjoyed restoring old furniture. She loved to sit in her rocking chair and quilt for hours. She also loved cooking and had a cook book trying new recipes every chance she got or when she just wanted to try something new.

She could also be found bird watching she loved to watch the birds, Cardinals were her favorite. She loved to travel all over for huggies flight schools. She also loved teaching Chelsie to sew and was so proud of her sewing machines. She was a fantastic grandmother, wife, and friend to all she met she will be greatly missed but never forgotten, she will live on in our hearts and and souls.

Services will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Hwy 11, Trussville, AL, Wednesday, February 11, 2026, Family time 12:30 pm--1pm, Family and Friends 1pm-- 2 pm

Service at 2 PM and Internment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
