Opal Markham

Opal "MeMe" Gann Markham, age 84, of Clay passed away on August 20, 2010. She was a member of North Park Baptist Church. Opal is preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Markham, and son, Dean Markham. She is survived by her daughter, Pam Moman (Mike); son, Don Markham; sister, Wanna Graben of Hamilton, AL; brother Douglas Gann of Phil Campbell,AL; granddaughters, Corrie Thorne (JD) of Huntsville, and Ellen Moman; along with many nieces and nephews and dear friend Al Ingram. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 23, 2010, from 5PM until 7PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2010, at 2:00PM at Jefferson Memorial Chapel burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
