Ola Scogin

Ola C. Scogin of Leeds, formerly of Birmingham, passed away December 1, 2012. She was retired from the city of Birmingham and was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Leeds. Mrs. Scogin was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence H. Scogin Sr.; her son, Clarence H. Scogin, Jr.; her parents, Jesse R. and Daisy Crane of Haleyville, AL; granddaughter, Dari Moreira; and brothers, Olin and Odom Crane. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Barrow (Billy); grandchildren, Beth Dorough, Cathy Brown, Sarah Johnston, and Rachel Scogin as well as 10 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Monday, December 3, 2012 from 11:30 am until 12:00 noon at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville, AL. A funeral service will be held at noon with the Rev. Billy Abrams officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
