Nell Underwood

Mrs. Nell Kathleen Underwood entered into eternal rest on Tuesday September 21, 2021.
Born in Chilton County on June 2, 1928, she was the daughter of Ermon and Era Rasberry whom she loved dearly.

Mrs. Underwood was an avid traveler, and was a charter member of Eastside Baptist Church. During her young adulthood, she attended a year at Birmingham Business College.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Horace George Underwood, and her parents.
Mrs. Underwood is survived by her three children Kenneth H. (Lea) Underwood, Roxanne (Russell) Clemons, and Jeff G. (Kelly) Underwood. She is also survived by her two granddaughters Abby Underwood, and Harper Underwood, as well as three step-grandchildren; Shawn Clemons, Tami Akin, and Nicole Noles.

She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend, and will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

Services will be held on September 24, 2021 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville, with a visitation beginning at 1PM, and chapel service to follow at 2PM.
