Mrya G. Parkins, age 85 of Birmingham, AL passed away on December 23, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leland Parkins and her daughter, Patti Parkins. She is survived by her children, Larry Parkins (Merry), Linda Parks, and Bill Parkins; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; special friend, Tammy Lowe. Visitation will be on Friday, December 27, 2013 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside services to follow at 1:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
