Murriel Riddle

Murriel Jeanette Gomer Riddle, age 80, passed away on October 15, 2013. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Margaret and Pearl Lake Baptist Church in Springville. She so loved all her kids; her best friend, Irma Banks; special friend, Jim Layman; and her friends at Senior's "School". She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Bartlett "T.B." Gomer; mother, Lethia Garrison Gomer Price; step-father, John S. Price; and great grandson, Christian Blake Schwartz. She is survived by her children, Rodney (Brenda) Riddle, Rachel Riddle, Fred (Tammy) Riddle, Leanette Riddle Wright; grandchildren, Jennifer Riddle Goff (Troy), Jody Riddle (Jill), Monica Barnes Schwartz (Scott Anderton), Kristie Barnes Dalton (Jeff), Bethany Riddle Davies (Daniel), Timmy Riddle (Laine), Lauren and Jordan Johnson, and Micah Wright; great grandchildren, Braden and Mason Goff, Jordyn Riddle, Aaron Schwartz, Molli Browning, and Karalee Davies; her favorite sisters, Maureen Gomer Todd, and Jane Price Maguire (Ray); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2013 from 5-7pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 18, 2013 at 1pm at Macedonia Baptist Cemetery in Margaret. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
