Monica Ruf

Monica Ruf was born Monica Lewis Pistole on June 22, 1956 to Dorothy Nell Thurmon and Lewis Winston Pistole. She had 3 siblings, Sandra Drue Howard of McKinney, TX, Larry James Pistole (deceased) and Paul Fleming (deceased). Charles McCommas previous husband (deceased) in 2022.

She says goodbye to multiple cousins, nieces and nephews. Special love to Kim, Christina and Marie.

Monica was reunited with her true love Jim in 2024 and quickly remarried after 30 years apart.

Monica had a great number of friend’s and colleagues who she felt close to each one. She spent many years as a dear friend to Brenda Davis.

She suffered from multiple medical problems and several doctors could not identify . Please consider purple flowers or a donation to the American Kidney foundation for research for COPD.

Undergrad degree from TCU in Art History and Psychology and then went on to get her Masters in Clinical Psychology. She worked in HealthCare for the past 40 years.

She was a CEO at a hospital and owned several companies. Hospice and Home Health Care the past number of years.

She often assisted friends with the pros and cons of the different Medicare programs.

She retired in 2024 when she got remarried to Jim.

She was an artist and enjoyed creating for her friends and family.
