Millicent Millar

Mrs. Millicent "Millie" Millar, age 85 of Pinson passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013 after an extended illness. Funeral services will be 12:00 pm Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Trussville, AL. The family will receive friends at funeral home Tuesday from 10:00 am until 11:45. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Dr. Dawson Harmon officiating. Survivors include her loving husband of 45 years, Corbett Millar; her brother, Percy Bowling, Jr. and two nieces, Sharon and Kay. Mrs. Millar retired from the Jefferson County Department of Human Resources after more than 35 years serving as a family counselor and various other jobs in this department throughout her years of service.
