Miller Rhys Shaw went to be in the arms of Jesus on August 4, 2026. Miller came into this world fighting on July 26, 2026, at 29 weeks and two days. 

He is remembered as the feisty little boy who fought until the very last moment. Though his time on earth was only nine precious days, he was surrounded by immeasurable love before being welcomed into Heaven. 

He is survived by his immediate family: his mother, Savannah Shaw; his father, Bruce Shaw; and his brother, Mike Shaw. He is also survived by his grandparents, Tracye Miller and David and Tammy Shaw; his uncle and aunt, Patric and Jenna Taylor, and their son, JB Taylor; and his aunt, Ashley Shaw, and her fiancé, Grégoire Saury. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Mike Miller. 

The arrangements are as follows: Church of the Highlands – Chapel 4700 Highlands Way Irondale, AL 35210 Visitation: 12:00 p.m. Service: 2:00 p.m. Burial: Immediately following at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville, AL.
