Mildred Mitchell

Mildred Wright Mitchell "Mammaw" passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 25, 2013, at the age of 88. She was born on May 14, 1925, in Holt, Alabama to Henry H. Wright and Blanche Vinson Wright. Mildred was a life-long resident of Birmingham, Alabama. Mildred was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Key Mitchell. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Mitchell Stults; a son, David Fletcher Mitchell; daughter-in-law, Kathy Glenn Mitchell; five grandchildren: Lisa Stults Boyles (Rob), Donald Ray Stults, Jr. (Ashley), Mitch Wade Mitchell, Kara Lane Mitchell, and William Glenn Mitchell, as well as five great grandchildren; Matthew, Andrew, Stephanie, Jay, Alana, and one great-great grandchild, MaKayla. The family would like to extend a heartfelt "thank you" to all of the wonderful caregivers at St. Martin's In the Pines and New Beacon Hospice. "We will be forever grateful." Visitation will be Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at 10:00-11:00 A.M., with Graveside Services following at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East in Trussville, Alabama.
