Mildred Doss

Mildred Doss, 89 of Birmingham passed away May 31, 2010. Mrs. Doss was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Harris Doss; parents, James Lynnwood Harris and Carrie Bell Patterson Harris; daughter, Barbara Ruth Doss; son, Lynnwood Harris Doss; two brothers, James Nealy Harris and Joseph Edward Harris and one sister, Mary Agnes Green. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 3 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Friday, June 4 at 11:00 AM in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East with Dr. Gary Fenton officiating. Survivors include a daughter, Peggy Doss Dye (Charles); one sister, Dera Eloise Davenport; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Dawson Memorial Baptist Church c/o Legacy of Faith. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
