Michelle Jordan, 55, passed away on June 10, 2025, in Pensacola,FL.
The service for Michelle Jordan will be held on Monday, at 10:00 AM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East in Birmingham, AL.
Michelle passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and close friends. Her kind spirit, unwavering love, and joyful presence will be remembered by all who knew her.
Michelle was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, niece, and friend. Her greatest joy came from caring for others and sharing special moments with her family.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 33 years, Adam Jordan. Michelle was the proud and loving mother of her son Brett and his wife Brooklyn, and adoring grandmother to their granddaughter, Navie. She also cherished her stepson Justin Jordan and his children—her grandchildren—Carson Rivera, Jaycee Jordan, Parker Stanley, and Ember Jordan.
Michelle is also survived by her father, Bill Handley, and his wife Debbie, her loving mother Inett Handley, and her brothers, Chris and Mark. Her extended family meant the world to her, including her aunts Debbie Stone, Aletha Watley, and Marsha Falkner; uncles John Watley and Ken Falkner; and cousins Angela Reed, Wren Reed Sheri Watley-Hulsey, Kristian Clem, Jason Falkner, Whitney Shafer, and Bradley Falkner. She also leaves behind beloved nephews Caleb and Tyler Handley and lifelong friends who brought her great joy.
She was preceded in death by her grandparent Ed and Dorothy Handley and John and Frances Whatley, her brother Matt Handley, her cousin Eric Wren, cousin John Nelson Watley and her Aunt Denise Peal. Their memories lived on in her heart, and she carried their love with her always.
Michelle had a deep passion for the simple joys of life—walking the beach in search of seashells with her family, listening to 80s rock, and attending concerts that made her heart sing. She treasured shopping trips with her mom and Aunt Debbie, and cheering on her favorite team, the Alabama Crimson Tide—especially while attending games with her husband (Roll Tide!).
Her favorite place was her home by the beach, where she welcomed loved ones with open arms, creating unforgettable moments filled with laughter and love. Time with family was everything to Michelle. She found immense joy in playing with her grandchildren and cuddling with her grandbaby Navie, often sharing sweet moments over FaceTime. She especially loved her video calls with her little cousin Wrennie, whose laughter brought her so much happiness.
Michelle’s spirit was full of warmth, kindness, and light. Her legacy is one of love, generosity, and unforgettable memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
