It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Meagan Ryan Holland, who was called home by her Lord and Savior on October 8, 2026, at the age of 35.

Meagan maintained a beautiful heart and soul, ever reaching out to comfort and lift anyone in need. She has now journeyed home to the waiting embrace of those who went before her, stepping softly into eternal rest with her Lord and Savior.

Welcoming Meagan through the radiant gates of heaven are her beloved maternal grandparents, Judith Hatcher, James "Jim" Gardner, and her cherished uncle, James Brett Gardner. Also standing ready to welcome her home with open arms is her paternal grandmother, Libby McNeff.

A graduate of Hueytown High School’s class of 2009, as well as Virginia College, class of 2012, Meagan’s life was deeply enriched by a beautiful circle of family and love, which shone brightest through Jesse, Kylee, Ian, and Liam. Her precious children were the absolute joy of her heart, and she loved them with a boundless devotion. Our family will forever cherish the pure warmth, grace and gentle encouragement Teia and Jimmie Rutledge bestowed upon Meagan and the love they have for her children.

Her legacy will be carried on by her loving parents Stacy Gardner Holland and Scott Holland; Uncles, Tripp Sanders, Rodney McDonald; aunt, Pam McDonald and a host of cousins and extended family.

A celebration of life will be announced at a future date and time.
