Mayford Mcwaters

Mayford J. "Mack" McWaters, age 83 of Remlap, AL passed away on August 12, 2008. He was a charter member of St. Johns United Methodist Church. He is retired from Samford University. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Elizabeth McWaters; daughter, Sherry (Brannon) Acton; sisters, Willodene Weeks, Macle Wright, Hildred Alexander, and Joy Limbaugh; brother, John McWaters; grandchildren, Thomas Acton and Brandi (Randy) Glenn; great grandchildren, Becka, Jake, and Nate Glenn. Services will be Thursday, August 14, at 12:00 PM in the Chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10 to 12:00 PM Thursday. Memorials may be made to St John's United Methodist Church.
