Mary Elizabeth Merrett Wanninger

Age 88, of Vestavia Hill, AL passed away on September 26, 2012. She was a member of South Highland Presbyterian Church. She was a U.S. Navy Veteran served in WWII. She is survived by her husband, Cecil Ellis Wanninger; son, Michael E. Wanninger (Linda); daughters, Susan W. Laney (Ken) and Dixie W. Robinson (Bud); 7 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Friday September 28, 2012 at 5:00pm at South Highlands Presbyterian Church Birmingham with Dr. Ed Hurley officiating. Family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the South Highlands Adult Daycare Center.
