Mary Jolley

Mary Katherine “Kathy” Jolley age 73. Peacefully left for her heavenly home on Aug 4, 2025. Kathy was a longtime resident of Birmingham . She retired from the Birmingham Board of Education. Following her retirement, she went to work for St Vincent’s East where she found her calling, she really loved helping others.
Kathy’s sense of humor would brighten anyone’s day.
Kathy enjoyed working in her yard, planting flowers every year. She was very active , loved visiting family and friends , Taking vacations .
One of her favorite places was the Smoky Mountains .
She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Jolley; parents Mary and Clyde Bynum; grandson Dalton Jolley; sister Debra Jane Bynum; two brothers Steve and Danny Whiteside; sisters in law Janie Bynum, Brenda Whiteside. Kathy is survived by her two sons Steven Wayne and Timothy Lee Jolley; grandchildren Logan, Taylor, Dylan, Hayden, Madison Jolley; brother William “Bo” Clyde Bynum; sisters Patricia “Patty”(Micheal )Ogles, Rita( Craig )Caines. Kathy has an aunt numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will forever miss her, especially her lifelong friend Wanda Blaylock. Along with her fur-baby Phoebe.
She loved us all .
She will be dearly missed.
