Long time Birmingham resident, Mary Nell George, currently residing in Montgomery, passed away on November 4 at the age of 96. She is survived by her son, Randy (Julia), three grandchildren; Stephen, Jeffrey and Kimberly Taylor (Patrick), and three great grandchildren; Spencer, William and Jacob. She and her husband, Lavoy, owned and operated Birmingham's Rainbow Roller Rink for over 20 years. Visitation will be on Friday, November 7, 2014 from 1 to 2PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside services to follow at 2:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospice of Montgomery. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
