Mary Drake

Mary Patricia "Patti" Drake, age 80, of Springville passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2023. Patti was a graduate of Woodlawn High School. She grew up in Ruhama Baptist Church. She retired from the University of Alabama at Birmingham after many years of service. Mrs. Drake is survived by her two sons, Chuck Drake and his wife Linda and Mark Drake; two grandchildren Josh Drake and his wife Dana and Michael Drake and his wife Katie; three great grandchildren Tucker Ray Drake, Autumn Faith Drake and Leddy Grace Drake; one sister, Carey Mason; three nephews, Christopher Mason and his wife Amberly and their children Ansley and Cooper Mason, nephew Jordan Mason and his wife Dawn and their children Selah and Serah Mason, and nephew Alex Mason and his wife Jade. Patti was preceded in death by her husband Charles W. Drake Sr.; parents Mary Lou and Wiley Holmes also her mother-in-law and father-in-law Bessie Ann and Eugene Drake. Visitation will be on Wednesday, Oct. 11,2023 from 11am till 12 noon at Jefferson Memorial Chapel in Trussville. The funeral service will follow at Noon at the funeral home with burial to follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville.
