Marty Payne

Marty Bernard Payne, age 38, of Trussville, AL, died in a tragic traffic accident Sunday, September 28. A loving husband, father and son, he is survived by his wife, Kelly; daughter, Rhianna; stepson, Jimmy Frizzell Jr. (Jamie); father, Arthur Payne and stepmother, Debbie; mother and stepfather, Jackie and Merrill Werblum; brother, Mark (Theresa) Payne; grandparents H.B. and Venie Payne and many aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews.

Marty was employed by Compact Power Services. He was a graduate of Jefferson State Community College and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society.

Marty enjoyed sports and motor cycle riding, loved to work with his hands, and was blessed with a mechanical mind.

Visitation will be at The First Baptist Church of Trussville on Tuesday, September 30, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. A private service for family only will be held on Wednesday.
