Mrs. Martha Massey, born Martha Orr on May 3rd, 1946, went to be with the Lord on August 20th, 2026. She was a loving wife of over 55 years, and a caring mother of her two daughters. 

Martha graduated from Banks High School in 1964. She then married Edwin Massey in 1968. Martha was a member of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees organization, and worked for the Social Security office for 30 years until she retired. After this, she worked at Charles Tyler Clark Law Firm for another 19 years. Martha loved the Lord, her family, and her cats and dogs. She will be greatly missed, and always loved.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Beatrice Barnett Orr; brother, Larry Orr; sister, Rita Bishop.

Martha is survived by her husband, Edwin E. Massey; her daughters, Julie Massey and Sheila Mitchell (Brian Earnest); grandchildren, Madison Mitchell, Leigh Stacks, Maddox Mitchell, and Thomas Earnest.
