Martha Creel

Martha J. Creel, 83 of Trussville passed away on September 10, 2011. Martha was a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church for 45 years; she sold Avon for 35 years and retired from Marsh Bakery Shop after 20 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy L. Creel; children, Michelle Creel Bullock and Dale Ward. Survivors include her children, Vesta Watson (Ronald), Victor Ward, Jr., Charles Creel (Shelia) and Lisa Carson (Peter); three sisters, June, Verleen and Jean; grandchildren, Michael, Jason, Jennifer, Travis, Terry, Tony, Stephanie, Stacey, Adam, Sonya, Donna, Lisa, Christa, Shelia, Jamie, Edward, Karah, Fallyn and Nikita and 28 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 13 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville. Church services will be on Wednesday, September 14 at 11:00 AM at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church in Trussville with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. The Rev. Roy Hornsby and Bobby Shippe will be officiating and burial to follow in Forrest Crest Cemetery. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
